Saint Andrew Statue painted and carved in wood. This Amazing handcrafted wooden Sculpture depicts the First Apostle of Jesus. Andrew was born in Galilee, his name which was Greek and not Hebrew even if his Native City was in Galilee, means Brave. As well He is Known as the "First Called"because He was the First to recognize Jesus as Messiah. He preached the Gospel in Greece, Romania and Russia. He was crucified on a X-shaped Cross, he chose a Diagonal Cross as he felt it wasn't worthy to die on the same shape of the cross as Jesus. The shape of  His cross named St Andrew Cross reminds the First Initial of Jesus 'name in Greek Language.
