Devotional Rosary for the Souls in Purgatory
This special rosary with thirteen decades is dedicated to praying for the souls in Purgatory and meditating on the thirteen virtues of the Virgin Mary. It begins with the Creed on the cross, followed by the Our Father on the yellow bead, and Glorias on the white, green, and pink beads, honoring the Saints, St. Michael the Archangel, and the Guardian Angels. The blue bead is for the Hail Mary, and a special prayer for the souls in Purgatory is recited at the centerpiece. Each decade includes one Hail Mary for the virtue and three Eternal Rest prayers. The virtues honored include Fear of God, Charity, Faith, Hope, Obedience, Patience, Piety, Chastity, Attention, Strength, Prayer, Purity, and Justice. This rosary is particularly meaningful during November or whenever praying for the souls in Purgatory.
