The World Missionary Rosary with Holy Water center medal

The World Missionary Rosary was created as an Universal Prayer to spread Peace in the World. Each colour of the Five Decades represents a different Continent:

Green: Africa and its Forests.

Red: America and the colour of the first people who populated it, Native Americans.

White: Old Europe. White is the colour of the robe worn by the Spiritual Father of the Old Continent, the Pope.

Blue: the blue of the Ocean surrounding beautiful Oceania.

Yellow: the colour of Asian morning Light.

This colorful Rosary is made of 8 mm glass beads. Each bead has been decorated on both side with filigree zemak caps. Beautiful double sided centermedal depicting on one side St. Bernadette praying Our Lady of Lourdes and on the other side a little container with Holy water.

A colorful crucifix closes the Rosary. The bars of the Crucifix have the same colors of the five decades with at the center a small representation of the world.

The Rosary comes with a very nice case depicting the Virgin Mary holding into her hands the Globe over it a Missionary rosary. The World Mission Rosary was envisioned by Archbishop Fulton John Sheen. He designed the World Mission rosary introducing it on a radio show, saying that "We must pray, and not for ourselves, but for the world."
