Wooden Statue of the Virgin of Regensburg

Wooden Statue reproduction Regensburg Virgin. This beautiful representation of the Virgin present on the left Altar of Regensburg's Cathedral has been handcrafted and handpainted in the North of Italy. Some details, not present in the original statue, has been replaced by new one, such as the White Veil. The Artisan replacing the Crown present in the original Statue with the White Veil remembers us Virgin's Mary meekness and humility as well as her obedience to Jesus Christ. The Baroque Style gives to the Sculpture the Natural Tenderness which typical of the Relationship between Mother and Son.
